Below is a brief passage from the the memoir of Dr Hermione Granger-Weasley.This memoir was written by her daughters Dr Lyra Malfoy(nee Weasley) and Dr Ada Lovelace(nee Weasley) with support from her loving husband,Dr Ron Weasley. For those interested in purchasing the full text, the memoir will be appearing on the market in 6 weeks, and is entitled,"The Life and Times of the Saviour of the World”.Prior to getting into the memoir, for those who are unaware, just some brief biographical background on Dr Hermione Granger-Weasley. Dr Granger-Weasley was one of the key scientists who discovered Blood+ and a founding member of the GAT.She believed in the importance of medical science and research as a tool to promote and save the world.Science can help save us all and ensures that when one of us prospers, we all prosper. One of the founding principles of the PLANTs world. Understandably, Dr Granger-Weasley has played such an important part in our global history, that the “Council of Elders” decided that every year there is a massive celebration to honour her on her birthday. The following is a passage from the introduction of the “The Life and Times of the Saviour of the World”.Experts expect it to be a best seller as the previous works written by Drs Malfoy and Lovelace were on the global best seller list for 6 months straight.Previous works concern their innovative research on cancer and the applications of machine learning algorithms to predict and treat paediatric neurological cancers. They were inspired by the hard work of their mother and chose to follow in her lead in medicine.

Looking at Dr Granger-Weasley, you would never believe what amazing discoveries she completed. She only stands at 5 feet 4 inches but she has helped to save us all.For this and many other reasons we honour her.She was instrumental in proposing and developing “Blood+”. “Blood+” has revolutionized the medical field.Prior to its creation, patients with blood borne diseases and organ transplant complications were dying. With the global organ shortage, any effective measures that can help to save patients lives were desperately needed. However, although many researchers tried, including attempting to perform xenotransplantations, the long term tissue damage and ethical concerns resulted in a more effective treatment option being required. As well as the ethical complications, there were legal malpractice suits that required a more economical as well as medical solution to be implemented.

Blood+ was created under the collaborations of Dr Rosalind Franklin and Dr Marie Curie. One of the research leaders on the team was Dr Hermione Granger-Weasley.One night, she had the brilliant idea to inject HIV positive mouse models with the synthetic blood model. This initial idea led to astounding results. Not only was HIV disease progression being drastically reduced, the viral counts were decline at never before seen rates.Further research found that if intervention of HIV+ women was done early enough in the pregnancy, resulting children would never develop HIV or be at risk for any complications during the birthing process.Blood+ saved many lives and its unprecedented current applications in oncology research can only be contributed to the brilliant innovative work done by Drs Franklin,Curie,Granger-Weasley and associated staff.

Note for privacy and governmental restrictions, as well as international copy rights, the exact mechanisms of Blood+ and its use in oncology therapies are restricted to citizens with “HUNTER” level research clearance.

Johnny Odis is a 17-year-old who attends the most prestigious private school in Toronto, Hope Hall Academy. The youngest son of Micheal and Lorena Odis, the biggest land developers in Toronto, with political ties. If you meet Johnny once, you adore him. He is smart, hilarious, kind, caring, and handsome. He has many friends, hobbies, and skills. Never been bullied or bullied anyone. Johnny has never had to worry about food or shelter and is loaded with love from his family. He has his hands on anything he wants, or anyone could ever dream of. However, he hangs on to one big, deep, dark secret- the one thing he really wants is more love in the world and to be freed from his depression and anxiety.

Having lost his grandfather to suicide in the year 2020, and never having had the chance to meet him, this is constantly on his mind. Is his condition and the way he feels genetic? How was the world before and what pushed his grandfather over the edge? Why was no one able to help his grandfather? He can’t seem to understand how everyone was so blind to the signs of his grandfather’s condition. Johnny can’t find the courage to discuss any of this with his father, Michael as he’s made it clear that this is a topic he does not want to talk about. It’s been years and here he is still not able to discuss it. Johnny wonders if his father too suffers from the same thing but looks like he will never be able to find out. His father is too proud to shed a tear and he has a status to uphold in his perfect reality. Johnny does see that his father spends every day in some semblance of pain and expects that he will for the rest of his life. Although his father is great at hiding it, he spends his days in his grandfather’s shadow, remembering and sharing the lessons he taught him. Through Johnny, his father can give his grandfather a vision of the world he deserved. The kind world he had hoped to live in. All this adds pressure to how Johnny lives and leads his life. How can Johnny compete with the success of his father, when all he wants to do is live a simple, humble life? There are so many things that go through his mind and he’s consistently thinking and thinking, and his mind just won’t stop. The pain is unbearable. Johnny cares so much about everything that the sorrows of the previous world and way of living has become too much for him. He still feels the global pain. He lives everyday with kindness and empathy and his motto is “It costs nothing to be good to someone” and reminds everyone to do all things with kindness. Johnny is dedicated to making change on a global scale. He believes the next generation is full of ideas and opinions, they’re open and creative. They are the generation that can make a difference, and Johnny is making it his life mission to lead them.

So far, this society seems to be a utopia: world peace, elimination of world hunger, and strides in medical technologies. The main question is where is the "flaw" in this world. The issue with the world is that if one wrong event, world peace may become evaporated, which can cascade into putting the world back in years of food and medical technologies. Social-based discrimination may be gone, but economical-based systemic discrimination is still prevalent. It has existed before HORIZONS program discovered genetic-based scoring, but it exacerbated it. We had the idea that scoring fetuses based on certain genetic features that the technology would try to predict on their potential for being productive in society would be biased against certain traits. Coupled with the fact that the general population is not aware of such a program, this creates a society that is segregated on certain characteristics that are deemed to be "ideal" or "not ideal." This idea was inspired by eugenics programs from history and how it encouraged abortions based on what was seen as "impure." However, it can be argued that eugenics still occurs in the modern world. The ability for us to screen for things like down syndrome has resulted in abortions. In some countries, female fetuses were also aborted due to patriarchal factors. So in our sci-fi world, these forms of eugenics have been taken to new levels, while the people who are born into a lower class find it hard to ascend, mirroring the cycle of poverty that can be seen in the real-world.
