Hi mom, 

So, today was smell day. They wanted to create this flower thingy that supposedly smells like dried leaves. The teacher went on and on about how people used to gift each other flowers, and their houses would smell like a fresh garden. Apparently, smelling like broccoli was the craze back then. 
Mine turned out to smell like the stuff that sometimes spits out from the ground. Everyone started coughing and screeching in their seats as if they could choke on artificial fumes. Que the eye role. 

Ms. R was having a complete meltdown, as if that’s new. At some point her whole body popped right off her legs; she must’ve pressed the wrong key or something. She really needs to get a grip. So, I sat there blowing out little puffs of clouds.  She plopped her torso right back on her tiny little legs and stretched herself over the entire room. It took at least a minute to get to the other side of the room where I was sitting. So dramatic. It’s called shift and pop yourself at my desk babe. You should’ve seen it Mom. I rigid the puff to go right up to her and pop right in her face. You would’ve loved it.

I don’t know if she wanted to say something, but she couldn’t get her mouth to work. Silent air was spilling from her mouth. Naturally, the class was over after that. She really needs to learn to set her presets; it would make it much easier for her to yell. 

Well, it doesn’t matter. One more stage, and I could be in the running to sit at the top. I’ll make the rules, and I can't wait to delete her existence from the world. She can stare out into her shoebox of a place until she goes mad. Serves her right. And before you start lecturing me, remember she started this battle. It’s not my fault S got left behind in the first stage. I tried to help, even rigged the algorithm to pass her. Who knew pushing a button required more than one brain cell? Sorry, that was mean, I would erase it so you wouldn’t see it, but I’m using my hands to write on a piece of paper. Cool huh? I found it lying in the green room when this man showed up. Okay, I didn’t find it personally, but by the time I touched it, it was a little too late. I had to keep it. Curse you, curious hands; my DNA would scream right out of the thing if I left it. The sheets of blank papers, I don’t have any excuse for that one. I’m sure they don’t miss it all. It has been weeks, and no one has come for me yet. 

On to better news, I finally got your scent right. At least now when your avatar is lecturing me, she’ll smell like you. I wish I could make her look more like you. I wish her hair was exactly like yours; I wish her face had the same curves. I wish her arms would feel the same as yours. I wish I hugged your real body more; I wish I knew how your arms felt and your hair smelled. I wish it was your eyes staring back at me and your voice I hear. 

I wish you were her mom, but I’m still angry with you; that’s all I have left of you, this version you created. I try to make it you, but I don’t remember, I don’t remember you. 

It's not the same without you here, we were supposed to be doing this together. Maybe in some universe, this letter will reach you…
