Editing The Story of Michelle

Meet Michelle. She is 23 years old. And is what some people call a “rebellious” one or a “modern day hippie”. Michelle desires to boycott the government but knows there is power in numbers and does not have many friends to fulfil such dreams. She strives for freedom of speech, civil rights and social justice, peace, political activism, and a freedom for one’s expression. Michelle was born into a rich family, therefore is very knowledgeable and well educated with history and the potential that their present day society could be as her chip does not have many limitations. She currently lives on her own in a condo downtown and will go for a run almost every morning. Loving all things fitness, nature, greenery and overall the natural beauty that the world holds. 
She does not have much of a connection with her family as they are involved in the government, therefore at a young age she decided to get involved with the wrong people and started selling drugs. As a result, opened the door to use and experiment with many different drugs which has allowed her to battle with many health problems over the years. Thus, steering much of her attention onto her health and overcoming her former illnesses and addictions.  Which is why her strong beliefs have not been proposed to the world as well as her parents' involvement in it. However, Michelle recently heard of the backlash that the government has been receiving and thought it would be a perfect time to finally be heard as she has been ignored and overlooked her whole life from her parents. 
As she reaches out to the community to be involved, she is immediately disregarded all for the reason that her parents are involved with the government and cannot be trusted, as well as the fact that she has a past with drug use and is believed to overall be a negative attribute to the protests, offering them a discourse and outlook that they do not want to appear as. That day was terrible, that day was a battle upon oneself. Michelle is too stunned to speak so all she can do is cry. She is in a constant fight with her own self identity as she feels as though she does not belong and the one time there is hope to belong, she is shut down. That day was spent in her room crying and a debate between whether or not there is hope in her life. She tries praying, she tries meditating, but yet again her attention is brought to the subject of substance abuse.
Michelle has been clean for almost a year now, but every now and then she will think of that short term escape and euphoria that she is dying to grasp from drugs. Michelle is vulnerable and lost…she is seeking comfort but has nobody to give her such. Rather than turn to drugs, she goes to her parents house in hopes that the slightest bit of comfort and affection that her mother can offer her, can uplift her spirits. The journey to her parents house has her greatly conflicted, a battle whether or not this is even a good idea, but she has no ideas left. Once she gets there, she rings on the doorbell and is immediately not let past the gate. Michelle is greatly startled as this has never happened before. Her father turns on the intercom and says “we do not let for traitors in this household, you can go back to the stupid community that is planning to protest”....
