As for the escapees I believe they're only human, they felt as though they were backed into a corner and chose to act on their anxieties outside of better judgement, unfortunately putting themselves in harms way. Although I can’t blame them as I believe many of us including myself have thought of doing the same. The current state of the escapees has enabled many Canadians to see the gravity of the situation; however, I still hear people conspiring and labeling them as industry plants and liberal propaganda. The sad thing is that the escapees are real people who are hurting. One of the women they brought back happens to be my coworker’s sister-in-law she has stage 3 lung cancer and their family is absolutely devastated. To everyone who will read my words please be kind and understand that there are people who are suffering right now. My thoughts and prayers go out to the escapees and their families. | ''As for the escapees I believe they're only human, they felt as though they were backed into a corner and chose to act on their anxieties outside of better judgement, unfortunately putting themselves in harms way. Are Domes Our New Home?
Like a fish in it's bowl, will the Earth's civilization be transferred to cushy upscale aquaria?

After almost an entire year in temporary underground shelters following the Canadian governments enactment of the Emergencies Act back in March of 2102, officials have finally announced the plan for the return to above ground living. The move to temporary shelters was initiated by the rapid acceleration of Earth's temperature which resulted in the seven-day melting period of Antarctica.
The melting period was accompanied by the subsequent drastic decrease in air quality as mass migration— due to the sinking of coastal countries efforts— had governments and their major companies pushing their greenhouse gas emissions quotas more than thousandfold. The CDC announced on March 17th, 2102, that there was a 91% chance of respiratory infections, heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer due to moderate exposure to the poor air quality.
Many civilians believed that the CDC announced this as an attempt to illicit fearmongering amongst the population— similar to the conspiracies that followed the notorious Covid-19 pandemic— however, 9 out of the 10 individuals who escaped to their former homes above ground returned to the bunkers in critical condition after 3 days on the surface. Civilians have criticized the Canadian government for the extension of their stay in the underground shelter for what was supposed to be a 3-month temporary housing situation.
We interviewed Toronto resident Nicole Simmons aged 29. When asked about her thoughts on the escapees and the dome, here’s what Simmons had to say:
"The wait has been agonizing, I have 3 children under 10 and they do not understand the gravity of the situation. It breaks my heart when they constantly ask to see the above ground world to which my ‘no not now’ leads to crying fits and tantrums.
As for the domes many of us have anxieties about the upcoming move but we believe that anything is better than being cooped up down here. Personally, I cant wait to see the sky and go out with my kids again."
The Canadian Government is said to have partnered with major tech companies X, Google, GHGSat, Pani Energy, Multus Biotechnology, Facebook, Metaverse, and more, in the development of 15-minute city domes with weather and air quality regulators. The biggest shift for many Canadian citizens will be the major incorporation of VR technology in schools and commercialized spaces, as well as the FDA and CFIA's approval of lab engineered livestock products, as a means of supplementing our previous quality of life here in Canada. While a full range of specifics have not been released regarding this change, Canadians can only sit in anticipation.
The move is set to occur on October 1st, 2104.
