Glitch News Host, Walda Wonka (she/her): We are back! I’m Wonda from Glitch News. Can you believe that back in 2023, school was still a mandatory, in-person experience? Not anymore! Virtual Planet is a new and uprising Virtual Reality company and has been in the digital market for a month now. Their newest venture is a new program called VirtuClass, which uses Glitchville’s virtual reality technology and aims to change the world of schooling. I am joined by our guest, Mr. Techno Futuris in studio. Mr. Fururis is the CEO of Virtual Planet, Glitchville’s latest technology advancement.
Techno Futuris (he/him): Hi, I’m Techno Futuris, the proud CEO of Virtual Planet. Our technology is leading the way for the future of work and schooling. By using the Virtual Planet Virtual Reality headset and hand pieces, one can “work” from home, such as top surgeons performing surgery on a patient from across the world, using our VirtuMed program. What was never before possible, is now possible! Children no longer need to physically leave the house to attend school! How you might ask? VirtuClass subscriptions alone have surpassed our two-month sales goal of $150,000, standing at a value of $500,000. It is with great pleasure that we are able to share our product with the world and receive evidence of success with our latest innovation.
Glitchville’s government organized data from last year’s student demographics, and found that 10% of student families had household incomes at the lower class level. With careful consideration of our values, Virtual Planet, the parent company of VirtuClass, promises to donate $100,000 each month, over the next three months. The donation will be equally distributed among each of the impacted families in the study.
