President X's point of view will be depicted through a set of diaries. Keep the dates in mind between each entry, as there are major shifts that occur.

July 10, 2041

The process has finally come to an end. Creating the most powerful chip known to mankind; a chip that will transform school systems where teachers will not need to waste their time on emotional connections and focus merely on their teaching and reiterating knowledge to students. “AI” is what we refer to this chip as also known as Artificial Intelligence. We decided on this name, as it truly is artificial intelligence for future children. It allows for a child’s temporal lobe to overdevelop, causing deficiencies in the frontal lobe which is associated with judgment, and emotion (the most predominant effects we have come across during clinical trials). However, statistics show that judgment and emotions often cloud academic development, and as a result, this negative factor is considered a positive for optimal learning to occur. There is no need for emotions and socialization; students are there to retain knowledge and do well on assessments to show their learning. This is all that their role is in schools. This also diminishes any unprofessionalism that may occur with meaningful relationships from teacher to student. The authority remains, the boundaries are never broken and the student will always have respect for who is teaching them. There is no room to think outside of the box, as standardized tests just require what is inside of the box. Creativity can occur outside of schools, however, we do not need those thoughts clouding the minds of other students and ruining their learning.

Today is the day. It is time to improve our numbers and for students to start taking school seriously again. The student's academic performance has been declining this past decade, and as someone who is taking an active role in improving this, I plan to use measures beyond the students’ control. This chip will become a voluntary choice given to parents who are hopeful of their beloved child’s future and success. Our advertising and clinics have performed successfully, and we have manipulated enough parents into linking their children’s success to this chip. This chip is the answer. Students are able to retain knowledge without even trying. This will increase test scores, school performance, and the overall rating of the schools, to make me look like an extraordinary government leader for having such excellent students.

Please mark this day for me. I may or may not make history, however, I do plan on creating a change in the world that can be irreversible. Children will fall in love with how easy it is to retain knowledge; there will be no need to go home and ‘study’ or continue their learnings, as the knowledge is inputed there and then through the chip. This can help create a healthy school-life balance for students to stop being swamped with school work.

February 21, 2046

You will not believe the numbers and how quickly they are accelerating to have the chip surgically inputed after birth. There has been a 79% increase in voluntarily signing up for this procedure. School ratings have skyrocketed; every school’s ratings have improved. There is still a large number of skepticism that is occurring through the general public. A large number of these individuals do not want to sacrifice emotions and relationships for success in life. This is a problem that needs to be combatted. You will hear from me very soon about this.

May 21st, 2099

I love this feeling that this chip has begun to spark in me. I feel ambitious, I feel alive, and everything I wanted my presidency for is becoming true. I am making the change that I have always wanted. I want to create a mandate; every child must get this! Every student must feel the same and be able to retain knowledge the same way. This is only fair for the students. Every student deserves success; there is very little out there for those who still need an education. The homeless situation has gotten extremely bad; why would these individuals risk their lives for relationships? I want them on my side, and I will continue pushing and pushing for this chip for every individual. If I can win this group over, my power will increase, as they are the only ones causing rifts in my plans right now. They will come to my side soon.
