Living my life in the Cultivators Division is a privilege and a blessing. I have always been very quiet and introverted for as long as I can remember. I also remember being really scared as a child for which division I would be chosen into by the Peacekeepers. I was terrified of the Spartans, I never fit in with the Enlighted, and I was never really good with making the ethical and moral decisions that the Peacekeepers have to make daily. Being quiet and introverted is what I believe made the Peacekeepers chose me for the Cultivators Division. These qualities allow me to be observant and listen to nature. I almost feel as if I am one with the land and I can understand how everything is feeling depending on certain environments.

I always wanted to be a Cultivator, maybe because my parents and brothers are in this division too. Thus, being chosen in this division holds a lot of respect in my family. I hold a great deal of responsibility in my role as a Cultivator in this society. Without my division this society would have depleted all resources. By the Cultivators having extraneous simulators where we are able to go through trial and error in different situations and using different methods, we are a huge part of the reason our society has been so resilient. Especially, after the first and second attack which destroyed much of what we had and took for granted.

Now our land, although not a lot of it, there are elements of Cultivators everywhere you turn. I hold pride in being a Cultivator which is why I am applying for the mentorship program in the division to mentor future chosen ones during their documentation process during the four seasons as well as their work experimenting with the simulation period.

I believe that I am a bit too quiet and not known well enough in society to ever be chosen by the Peacekeepers to be an educator. However, I believe I would be an amazing mentor as I can guide them with understanding the emotions of the life around us. I will continue to work extremely hard in everything that I tackle and would love to reignite my passion for the work that I do by seeing the excitement from the newly chosen ones that are selected to become the new generation of Cultivators.
