Max has always been some sort of outsider. Even before the world-altering revolution, she seldom would find a place for her to fit in. She knew how to make her way through her obstacles, and had even settled on a job being a nurse... she didn't really know what she wanted but her girlfriend talked her into it, mainly because she saw her "warm and loving side". Max and her partner lived a low-income, poverty life, and they both worked in pharmaceuticals, that's where they met. Her girlfriend, Jam, was the only one to crack Max's cold exterior with her inviting and open aura, and Max took refuge in the comfort Jam gave her. Jam always wanted to work in the medical field, as her family was in low health, including her. She wanted to make the world a better place and heal as many people as she could. Max admired this about Jam and developed it into her own goal to make her happy. Max was working towards this, but in the midst of her education, the robot flux took over. This left both Max and Jam jobless, and in deeper debt they were already in. They had to sell their house, relocate their whole family, and make do with whatever they would find. They built their own home on the streets of the slums where the other jobless succumbed, but it wasn't enough. Jam and her family were cracking under the harsh conditions they were living through, and the lack of proper nutrition, healthcare, and quality of life was taking its toll. One by one Jams' family was dropping like flies, and Max was left scavenging for food in hopeless attempts to keep Jam alive. All she cared about was Jam. Max had thought she would pull through, she thought she would be able to protect her. But she couldn't. Jam's alluring soul left her body, and Max was left alone and empty. She had grown a burning resentment for the robots and for those who benefitted from them and had become blinded by rage. She would sneak into the elites neighborhoods alone and tarnish whatever she could find. She would start small, stealing and breaking things, but this caught on to the elites quickly. They were repulsed and disgusted, they put up posters and bounties and wanted Max dead. This only made her actions more frequent, and more passionate. She loved how they were mad. She would collect others who were wronged in the revolution and would raid the elites. They would invade private art shows, steal prized creations, vandalize the streets, and terrorize anyone who came near them. This gave Max a new purpose but didn't take the pain away from losing Jam. She was bringing wealth to the streets of poverty she resides in, but it's all empty without her.
