Laying pavers alongside turf creates a neat transition between hardscaping and lawn, but you have to mind the edges. A sunken paver path lets grass grow right up to it, while a raised border keeps mulch and soil off the stones. We used permeable pavers with wide gaps, filled them with sand, and seeded creeping thyme in the joints; the turf stays lush, no runoff stains, and the walkway feels grounded. It's a practical look—balanced, low-maintenance, and easy to mow around.
